A Natural Rhythm of Development
Our infant care pedagogy is based on Natural Rhythm™, where we create opportunities for little ones to develop at their own pace while respecting their natural developmental rate. This natural rhythm of development begins from infant care and continues as your child progresses to the playgroup and pre-nursery levels.
C.A.R.E Philosophy
The C.A.R.E Philosophy encapsulates our commitment to nurturing children's growth and development holistically. It stands for Caregiving, Authenticity, Relationships, and Engagement, each of which plays a crucial role in our approach.
Caregiving in our context means providing more than just basic care; it's about creating opportunities for holistic development. We believe in nurturing not only the physical needs of children but also their emotional, social, and cognitive needs.
Authenticity is central to our interactions and experiences. We strive to offer experiences that resonate with children, helping them make sense of the world around them. Our activities are relatable, appropriate, and relevant, fostering genuine engagement and understanding.
Building strong relationships is fundamental to our philosophy. We prioritise the development of trusting relationships with both parents and children. By gaining trust and respect from all parties involved, we create a supportive environment where children feel valued and secure.
Engagement is at the heart of our approach to learning. We promote active participation and child-led exploration, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. Our environment is carefully designed to encourage discovery, creativity, and a joy for learning.
In essence, the C.A.R.E Philosophy guides us in providing a nurturing, authentic, and engaging environment where every child is respected, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

LOCATE USNatural Motricity™
Natural Motricity™ emphasises how children naturally learn to use their bodies from a very young age. As they grow, they follow a natural process of getting better at moving around. Confidence is really important for them to do well.
When children are given the chance to explore and start activities on their own, it helps them feel like they can do things by themselves. This builds up their sense of being in control, trusting themselves, and feeling good about what they can do.
Embracing Curiosity
At Little Footprints Preschool, we celebrate the natural inquisitiveness of children, which typically begins around the age of 2 with their constant questioning of "WHY." This curiosity persists throughout their early years and is a powerful learning tool.
As children are still discovering the world around them, their endless "whys" are windows to gaining knowledge and information. This innate curiosity ignites their desire to understand how things work and fuels their eagerness to learn and explore.
Embracing Curiosity acknowledges and encourages children's innate drive to inquire, learn, and explore, laying the foundation for a lifelong love of discovery and understanding.

Key Programmes
As we guide our infants in their exploration of the world, we leverage the following programmes to foster the development of early motor and language skills.
Artist of the Term
Artist of the Term is a captivating programme designed to introduce our infants with renowned art pieces through immersive, sensory experiences.
Our dedicated teachers curate materials that allow children to engage deeply with the scenes depicted in these masterpieces, encouraging them to explore, replicate, and appreciate the artistic vision.
Ultimately, this initiative seeks to foster an early understanding and appreciation of art, inviting infants to embark on a journey of exploration, learning, and sensory discovery.
