Preschool in Yishun

Little Footprints Preschool @ Yishun 865 is located on the first floor of Blk 865 at Yishun Street 81 near Khatib MRT, Nee Soon Community Club and Naval Base Primary School. We offer preschool for children aged 18 months to 6 years old at our POP-appointed centre in Singapore.

Our preschool at Yishun 865 features open-concept classrooms for preschool children of all levels to immerse themselves in a holistic, experiential learning environment. The layout encourages natural interaction and collaborative discovery, with clearly defined learning corners that support everything from guided literacy and numeracy to creative arts and sensory play.

With a primary school nearby, our Kindergarten Two children will get first-hand experience of the primary school environment before they graduate. This provides them with a meaningful head start, easing the transition and building the confidence they need to step into primary school ready.

While our Yishun branches do not currently offer infant care, this programme is available at our other centres, where dedicated infant care facilities welcome children from as young as 2 months old. Find out more about our infant care programmes and where we offer them in Singapore.

Playground and Outdoor Activities

We enhance our childcare curriculum at this centre through active play, peer discovery, and community exploration in the neighbourhood's open spaces. Children engage in a mix of structured outdoor activities and free play at the nearby community playground, developing gross motor skills, spatial awareness, and the kind of easy confidence that comes from navigating the world with friends by their side.

The proximity to Nee Soon Community Club further enriches our outdoor programme, providing a welcoming backdrop for community-based activities and exploration. These moments of discovery complement our in-class learning, helping children return to their lessons refreshed, engaged, and ready for more.

We open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM to accommodate the schedules of working families. Our extended hours provide flexibility for parents while ensuring consistent, quality care throughout the day.

A Kindergarten Programme That Truly Prepares Children for Primary School

Having Naval Base Primary School as a neighbour means our K2 children have the opportunity to experience the sights, sounds, and rhythms of a primary school setting before they graduate, replacing first-day jitters with a sense of familiarity and readiness that gives them a genuine head start.

Nestled in a Quiet, Family-Friendly Neighbourhood

Situated along Yishun Street 81 near Nee Soon Community Club, our centre is tucked within a peaceful residential enclave that's familiar and convenient for families in the northern Yishun community. Daily drop-offs and pick-ups fit naturally into the rhythms of neighbourhood life.

POP-Appointed Centre with Subsidised Fees

As a Partner Operator (POP) appointed preschool in Yishun, we offer high-quality childcare at government-subsidised rates. Families benefit from capped, transparent fees without having to compromise on the quality of education or care their child receives.

Open-Concept Spaces That Invite Curiosity

Our open-concept classroom layout is designed to support collaborative learning and independent exploration at every level. Children move fluidly between activity zones, building focus, creativity, and the social confidence they need to thrive.

Most children in Singapore begin preschool between 18 months and 3 years old, though the right time depends on your child's individual readiness. Start with your child's needs and your family's priorities. Consider the curriculum approach, learning environment, class sizes, educator-to-child ratios, and proximity to home or work. It also helps to look for centres that are aligned with MOE and ECDA frameworks, and appointed under the POP scheme for subsidised fees.
