At Little Footprints Preschool, learning goes beyond the classroom.
Recently, our K1 children and their families from our West Coast centre embarked on an exciting preschool excursion to Clementi Fire Station — a memorable learning journey that combined fun, discovery, and valuable life lessons.
During the visit, the children had the chance to step into the shoes of real-life heroes. They explored life-saving vehicles such as the fire engine and ambulance, and even tried their hands at using the powerful water hose. The highlight of the day was meeting the dedicated firefighters who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe.
To show their gratitude, our preschoolers presented heartfelt origami hearts as thank-you gifts — a simple yet meaningful gesture that reflected the spirit of kindness and appreciation.
Beyond the excitement, this preschool excursion experience also taught our children about bravery, teamwork, and community service. These values are at the heart of what we nurture at Little Footprints Preschool, where every child’s journey is guided by curiosity and character-building.
Building Foundations Through Preschool Experiences
At our childcare centres in Singapore, excursions like these complement classroom learning by encouraging children to observe, interact, and reflect on the world around them. Whether through structured lessons in our kindergarten programmes or hands-on explorations, we aim to provide a holistic preschool experience for every child.
If you’re looking for childcare in Singapore that blends strong academics with enriching real-world learning opportunities, Little Footprints Preschool is here to walk the journey with you and your child.
